The Idaho Association of Counties (IAC) has announced the 2026 recipients of its annual scholarship program. After a competitive review process, seven students from across Idaho were selected from a pool of 56 applicants to each receive a $1,000 scholarship. In addition, one runner-up from each district has been awarded a $500 scholarship.
Award Recipients:
Since its establishment in 2003, the IAC Scholarship Fund has awarded 178 scholarships to students throughout Idaho. The program supports the children of county employees, as well as the children and grandchildren of county elected officials, who are pursuing full-time education at a college, university, or vocational/technical program.
Now in its 23rd year, the scholarship program continues to grow thanks to the ongoing support of county officials, employees, and corporate sponsors. The addition of runner-up awards in each district reflects IAC’s commitment to recognizing more outstanding applicants, students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership, and a dedication to serving their communities.
