How County Officials Drive Positive Community Impact

Whether it be through their public service work as an elected official or participating in local organizations, seeing our elected officials be recognized for their leadership and character is always a welcome sight. The strength of the Idaho Association of Counties and our local communities lies in the individuals who step up to serve.

Ben Robertson, Boundary County Commissioner, was recently recognized by the Idaho FFA Foundation for his accomplishments as a county commissioner and Idaho FFA member who was part of founding the alumni and supporter group for the Idaho FFA and serving his second term as a Boundary County Commissioner. When county officials are recognized for their contributions to their communities, it reminds us that our members create impacts in local communities before, during, and after their service as an elected official. They have the power to inspire youth to get involved, create lasting positive influence in their communities, and are actively helping to build the future of Idaho.

We are pleased to see the accomplishments of Ben Robertson and his family highlighted. Their efforts to help cultivate a legacy of leadership that actively invests into the community is a powerful reminder that our elected officials drive meaningful progress far beyond their title.
