The Idaho Sheriffs Association (ISA), in partnership with the Idaho Jail Administrators Association (IJAA), held its Annual Conference December 9–11, 2025, at the Boise Centre in downtown Boise.

The conference opened Monday evening with a Board of Directors meeting followed by a welcome reception at Bardenay Resturant. Training sessions and presentations began early Tuesday morning. Topics included Leadership and Self-Deception with Chip Huth of the Arbinger Institute, Crisis Communications with Avery Essick and Laura Cole of Cole Pro Media, and a detailed case study review.

Wednesday’s training featured Jason Lehman, President of Chapter Two Consulting LLC and a retired Police Sergeant from the City of Long Beach. Jason delivered an inspiring presentation centered on self-discovery, strengthening leadership skills, and exploring ways to enhance support in the workplace.

Wednesday evening featured the Annual Banquet and Installation Ceremony. During the ceremony, Butte County Sheriff Dave Hansen was sworn in as President of the Idaho Sheriffs Association. Bannock County Sheriff Tony Manu was installed as 1st Vice President, Adams County Sheriff Ryan Zollman was installed as 2nd Vice President, and Sheriff Kieran Donahue was elected as ISA Secretary.

The conference concluded Thursday with a half-day session covering Retirement Planning, Human Trafficking Jail Screening, and the association’s closing business meeting.

ISA extends its sincere appreciation to all vendors who supported the association and contributed to the event’s success. These high-quality conferences would not be possible without the commitment of dedicated exhibitors, sponsors, and ISA business partners.
