IAC District Meetings serve as a great resource to Idaho’s county officials. Attendees can gather ideas regarding best practices, receive updates on regional, state, and federal issues, and strengthen relationships through networking. All county elected officials are encouraged to attend their districts’ respective meetings to help them stay actively engaged and up-to-date on the latest issues. Three IAC Districts have meetings scheduled over the next two weeks.

District 3 will meet in Adams County on Wednesday, April 10th, at the American Legion (2046 US Hwy 95, Council, Idaho). The meeting will begin with updates on legislation and a federal update. Each affiliate will hold a roundtable discussion over lunch, and then the district will come together for an election presentation and a final wrap-up.

District 1 will meet this Friday, April 12th, from 10 am to Noon in Kootenai County at the Kootenai County Administrative Building (1st Floor / Meeting Rooms 1A & 1B, 451 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho). The district will receive updates from the chairs of each affiliate group and updates on legislation and federal issues.

District 5 will meet in Bingham County next Thursday, April 18th, at Spudnik Equipment Co. (584 W. 100 Rd. N., Blackfoot, Idaho). Spudnik will be offering tours for county officials at 11 am and 1 pm. The District 5 meeting will officially begin at noon and will include lunch. Please RSVP to Kristi Davenport (kristid@bannockcounty.gov) by noon on Friday, April 12th, so she knows how many to include for lunch and to let her know which tour you are interested in attending.
