This annual publication provides vital information for counties as the upcoming budget cycle approaches. This report provides objective, comparative data directly from Idaho’s counties that are essential for responsible fiscal management and accurate personnel cost estimates.

Access to this information can help county officials and department heads gain a clearer understanding of the competitive labor market across counties, which may aid in preparing budget requests and balancing different needs across county offices and departments. This annual survey provides a comprehensive overview of salary data for county elected officials, county department heads, and chief deputies, as well as county-provided benefits data.
