Chase Christensen began his career with the Idaho Association of Counties (IAC) in January of 2024 as a part-time Policy Intern but quickly worked his way up to a full-time position as IAC’s Research Analyst and Operations Specialist later that year.
In his role, Chase focuses on research and data analysis, aids in policy and legislative matters during and in preparation for the legislative session, and collaborates on IAC publications, including the County Officials Handbook. He also assists with IAC’s office operations and provides financial support alongside other staff.
Chase earned his B.A. in Sociology with a Minor in Political Science from Brigham Young University – Idaho. He is currently a graduate student in the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program at Boise State University. His education has greatly aided his pursuit and interest in serving his local community and learning more about Idaho’s local government.
Outside of work, Chase enjoys outdoor sports such as football, rock climbing, and snowboarding, as well as spending time with family, friends, and his wife Sage.
