IACRC Holds 2026 Annual Conference in Nez Perce County

The Idaho Association of County Recorders and Clerks (IACRC) gathered in Lewiston, Idaho this August 11–13 for its 2026 Annual Conference, hosted at the Nez Perce County Courthouse. Throughout the conference, attendees participated in discussions and presentations covering legislative updates, artificial intelligence, budgets, upcoming elections, and updates from state leadership.

The conference opened with a welcome from IACRC President and Teton County Clerk Kim Keeley, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and invocation. The morning featured a lobbyist update, budget training and discussion, and a presentation on practical applications of AI. The afternoon continued with a discussion on financial insights for everyday financial management. The day concluded with the IACRC Business Meeting, where resolutions were presented and members voted for the new IACRC Secretary/Treasurer.

That evening, attendees gathered at Rivaura Winery for the IACRC Banquet and Installation of Officers. The group enjoyed an evening of great food, networking, and scenic views while welcoming the association’s new officers. Trent Tripple, Ada County Clerk, was sworn in as IACRC President; Pam Eckhardt, Bingham County Clerk, moved into the role of IACRC Vice President; and Patty Weeks, Nez Perce County Clerk, was elected Secretary/Treasurer.

Day two featured presentations from state leadership, beginning with Phil McGrane, Idaho Secretary of State, followed by an update from Ben Seloske, research analyst with the Idaho State Tax Commission. The afternoon included the IACRC Business Meeting, where the FY27 budget was presented and approved and resolutions were presented and voted on.

Following the day’s sessions, attendees enjoyed a Hells Canyon Jet Boat Tour, generously sponsored by Election Systems & Software. The evening featured a fast-paced cruise through Hells Canyon, networking, refreshments, and a BBQ dinner surrounded by stunning views and a beautiful sunset.

The final day featured a presentation from Idaho State Controller Brandon Woolf and concluded with discussions on continuing education and the responsibilities of county clerks.

The 2027 IACRC Annual Conference will be held August 10–12 at the Evergreen Hotel in McCall, Idaho. We look forward to seeing everyone in McCall!
