The Idaho Association of Counties (IAC) has named the 2025 recipients of the IAC Scholarship. After a competitive review process, seven students from across the state of Idaho were selected from a pool of 80 applicants to each receive a $1,000 scholarship from the IAC Scholarship Fund.

Award Recipients:

– Carly Rodriguez, District 1;

– McKenna Knott, District 2;

 – Claire Pierce, District 3;

– Calista Stevenson, District 4;

– Quincy Cronquist, District 5;

– Kaylee Kesl, District 6;

– Makaya Boyer, Bob MacKenzie Memorial Scholarship

Since the IAC Scholarship Fund’s implementation in 2003, 165 scholarships have been awarded to deserving students across Idaho, with all 44 counties having received the IAC Scholarship at least once.

This program is made possible through the generosity of county elected officials, employees, and corporate sponsors who contribute annually through personal donations, auctions, and other fundraising activities. Their continued support and commitment have sustained the IAC Scholarship Fund for over two decades, helping Idaho students pursue their educational goals.

Thanks to this generosity, starting next year we will also award six $500 scholarships to the runner-up from each district, giving a total of thirteen students the opportunity to receive a scholarship.

The IAC Scholarship is open to children of county employees and to children or grandchildren of county elected officials who are enrolled full-time at a college, university, or vocational/technical school. The 2026 scholarship application will be available this October. To learn more or make a donation, visit our website.
