Calling all soon-to-be elected county officials and incumbents!
It is our pleasure to invite you to IAC’s Fall County Officials Institute. We recommend that all newly elected officials, as well as incumbents, plan to attend this training. Continuing education is essential for all county elected officials. Idaho’s county elected officials face new issues all the time – new legislation, new rules, new regulations – you can imagine! You should not only be aware of these issues but should also know what to do about them.
This one-day training program will focus on what you need to know as an incoming county elected official. Please take a few minutes to mark your calendar for this very important training program. We offer the training in six different locations around the state: Boise, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Falls, Moscow, Pocatello, and Twin Falls. We’ll also be adding virtual trainings for those unable to attend an in-person training due to the coronavirus.
IAC will take precautions to mitigate the spread of coronavirus at our Fall County Officials Institute and will work with local health officials to ensure the training is held in a safe manner. Training rooms will be socially-distanced and attendance will be limited at each location. While we plan on making every effort possible to hold these trainings in person, we may need to pivot to a virtual meeting in some locations depending on local conditions and local public health orders.
The registration fee of $95 includes a boxed lunch, breaks, and conference materials.
Training will be held from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Click here for our Full Training Agenda. All locations will us the same agenda.
