Idaho Association of County Treasurers (IACT) was well represented in attendance at the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers & Finance Officer (NACCTFO) 2024 conference in Tampa Florida. The mentoring opportunities and diversity with how other state county governments operate was very enlightening. Education was informative and included: Cybersecurity, Nuts & Bolts of Tax Administration, Work Life Balance as a Retention Strategy, Artificial Intelligence, and ChatGPT.

In attendance representing IACT was:

Dawn Erlewine, Clearwater County Treasurer wildcard drawing winner to attend NACCTFO

Cathy Smith, Elmore County Chief Deputy

Jill Smith, Kootenai County Chief Deputy

While attending the conference Amber Sloan and Jill Smith were presented with education awards from NACCTFO for their continuing education hours.
