Position Summary

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is accepting resumes for the position of Full-time Patrol Deputy. This position will be required to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, swings, recreation patrol, and holidays. Deputies respond to general emergencies related to crime, public safety, traffic accidents, investigations, disturbances along with other calls. Patrols roadways and enforces state laws. Provides 24 hour a day emergency response, communicates with citizens, suspects, victims, and coworkers in a team environment for successful resolution of incidents.  Requirements are a high school diploma or a GED, at least 21 years of age, a United States Citizen, no felony convictions or conviction of an offense that would be a felony if committed in Idaho. Must be able to pass and comply with Idaho Post standards for basic peace officer certificate. Wages for this position is $18.15 to $21.77 an hour depending on experience. It also includes a great benefits package along with PERSI Retirement.
