Position Summary
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is accepting resumes for the position of Full-time Emergency Communications Officer. This position will be required to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays. This position is a quick-thinking job, dealing with the public, includes answering 911 and administration lines, dispatching for police, fire, and ambulance. Requirements are a high school diploma or a GED, at least 18 years of age, a United States Citizen, no felony convictions or conviction of an offense that would be a felony if committed in Idaho. Must be able to type 30 words per minute, a typing test must be completed at Job Service. Wages for this position is $16.40 to $19.15 an hour depending on experience.
